This week end, between 12pm on September 22nd and 12pm on September 23rd, I will participate to a 24-hour, non-stop, Surf-a-Thon to help support OCEANA and their effort to clean and protect our world’s oceans. I will be surfing the event Saturday, September 22nd from 3pm-6pm and Sunday, September 23rd from 9am-12pm with Team Sandshark.

The MAKE A WAVE PROJECT Surf-a-Thon will be rockin’! You can expect two days of music and fun in the sun and sea. Look for the four white canopy tents stationed at the Ocean Park Beach near lifeguard Tower 26. This is a grass-roots event y’all, and we appreciate any and all the support you can give – whether you surf, make a donation, or bring your good energy to the beach! So, bring your friends and family to cheer on the MAWP surfers as they catch waves and rip it up!!

The MAWP Surf-a-Thon for OCEANA is for anyone who loves the beach. So, if you would like to help this organization and support me in this extraordinary cause, you don’t need to be surfing the event. You can make a donation to Make A Wave Project by filling out the attached donation form. Please note that checks need to be made out to OCEANA. Donations are also accepted online at www.makeawaveproject.org through a secure payment link. All net proceeds raised from this event will go directly to OCEANA.

Please check their website as well as view their video stream of the team captains and some of the stoked surfers. If you care about the future of our oceans, this is an extraordinary cause. I am grateful to all of you who are willing to help! For more information on MAWP and OCEANA, please visit www.makeawaveproject.org.
Peace, love and SURF’S UP!!

p.s. Please do not hesitate to forward this blog to anyone who might be interested to help support OCEANA and Make A Wave Project, and if you are thinking to make a contribution by check, you can send your donation to this address:
